In celebration of the 2nd anniversary of Young Animal Densi web magazine, the most recent chapter of Masahiro Totsuka and Saki Adumi’s Kare Baka: Wagahai no Kare wa Baka de R (Idiot Boyfriend ~My Boyfriend is an Idiot) has revealed that an anime adaptation of the series is currently in production.
Wagahai no Kare wa Baka de Aru (My Boyfriend is an Idiot) is a comedic romance manga written by Masahiro Totsuka and illustrated by Saki Adumi. The series began in Hakusensha’s Young Animal Island magazine in 2013 and ran for a total of 2 compiled volumes. A reproduction of the manga by the same artists has starting serliazation in Hakusensha’s online magazine Young Animal Densi under the title Kare Baka: Wagahai no Kare wa Baka de R (Idiot Boyfriend ~My Boyfriend is an Idiot). The first chapter of the manga released on May 3rd this year.

The story revolves around the daily lives of Akomi and her idiot boyfriend (kare baka), Ponta Ninoyima, whose only redeeming quality is his good looks.
An anime adaptation of Kare Baka: Wagahai no Kare wa Baka de R has been announced, but not much is currently known about the upcoming series. Further information will be revealed in the upcoming months.
