Re-Kan! Episode 1 Pre-Screening on March 14

The official website of the upcoming anime adaptation of Hinako Seta’s Re-Kan! 4koma manga has revealed that there will be a special pre-screening of the first episode of the anime on March 14 at an event for the Spring anime series.

An event for the Re-Kan! anime will be held on March 14 at the 10th Cinema at United Cinemas Toyosu, where the first episode of the anime will be screened before its scheduled broadcast. The event itself is titled Re-Kan TV Anime Pre-Screening ~White Day Special~.The event will also see the main voice cast of the anime in attendance hosting a talk session with about the anime and their roles. The main cast of the anime includes:

  • Ibuki Kido (Nanami Knight Bladefield in Kanojo ga Flag wo Oraretara) will voice Hibiki Amami

  • Erii Yamazaki (Roboko in Sekai Seifuku: Bouryaku no Zvezda) is voicing the role of Makoto Ogawa

Re-Kan! is a comedy 4koma manga written and illustrated by Hinako Seta. The series began as a one-shot in 2009 in Houbunsha’s Manga Time Jumbos magazine and eventually became a full serialized series in 2010. To date a total of 5 compiled volumes have been released, the latest releasing on December 6.

Here is a synopsis of the series from MAL:

Amami Hibiki is a girl who can see ghosts and other supernatural phenomena in her surroundings. The stories follow her daily life with both her friends and the otherworldly.

The Re-Kan! anime will be airing this April during the Spring 2015 anime season on TBS and BS-TBS. An event showcasing the pre-screening of the series’ first episode will take place on March 14 where tickets will go on sale on February 14.
