Spring 2015 Anime Guide

Although we are just starting the Winter 2014/2015 anime season, it is time for an anime guide for the next season to keep track of all the new announcements and reveals in one place. Once again we are compiling an anime guide for the upcoming season, Spring, which officially starts from April. We will be updating the guide constantly as new information comes to light, so do keep in mind all information is subject to change. We will have a list of what updates were made and you can also check out our Twitter or keep an eye out on the hashtag #SpringAnimeGuide for the latest information.

Our guide will be covering all the NEW TV anime series ordered by day the first episode actually airs (not broadcast date) then alphabetically and will include the following on each series:

  • The Title of the anime linked to its MAL page
  • All the released Key Visuals and magazine scans
  • Links to the anime’s MAL, AnimePlanet, Hummingbird and Anilist pages
  • Official Website, Twitter Account, Hashtag (or anime’s Japanese title) and a link to post a Tweet
  • Information on the series: genre, originality, episode length, number of episodes
  • The Director, any other notable staff members, and Animation Studio
  • The cast of the anime and their characters with links to the character designs
  • A synopsis of the series
  • Promotional Videos and Commercials, and

Synopsis:

With dreams of becoming a composer and someday writing a song for her favorite idol, Haruka enters the Saotome Academy, a prestigious performing arts school. Robot Girls Z+, the new Robot Girls Z anime, will be six monthly shorts that will debut next spring. The new shorts’ story will be based two classic “Toei Manga Matsuri” films, Great Mazinger tai Getter Robo (Great Mazinger Vs. The story revolves around a new team of “Toei robot girls” named “Team Z” that is made up of three girls based on Toei’s Mazinger Z franchise: Mazinger Z, Great Mazinger, and UFO Robot Grendizer. Usually they perform in activities around Nerima ward in Tokyo to raise the awareness of the promising future energy source “Photon Power” (koushiryoku).
