The first promotional video has been revealed for the upcoming original anime film Glass no Hana to Kowasu Sekai (Vitreous Flower Destroy the World). This new PV introduces the premise of the film and some of its concept visuals. The upcoming film is based on the 2013 short film produced by Physics Point, D.backup. The short won the grand prize at Pony Canyon’s first Anime-ka Taishou contest at AnimeJapan 2014, granting it a prize of 1 million Yen and a full anime adaptation. The film will be directed by Masashi Ishihama (Shinsekai yori, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time Animation Director), written by Fumihiko Shimo (Clannad, The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya) and produced by A-1 Pictures (Sword Art Online, Fairy Tail).
Not much is currently known about the Glass no Hana to Kowasu Sekai film, other than it will be releasing in Japan this year.
